- In March, the Diamond Synchrotron celebrated the 8th Anniversary of the Labour Government and the Wellcome Trust agreeing to build and operate the facility.
- Research projects span biology and medicine, physical and chemical sciences, and environmental and engineering science.
- Research projects range from solving the crystal structure of enzymes in retroviruses to research on miniature magnets to investigating neurological conditions such as Alzheimer`s Disease and Parkinson`s Disease.
