George Kneeshaw - Wallingford

george_kneeshaw.JPG

Originally from Yorkshire, I have lived in Wallingford for 13 years. Although I occasionally pine for the mills and moors, I have grown to love the countryside and people of South Oxfordshire. I have two children at Wallingford School and am a trade union representative in the telecommunications industry. I want to be a voice for the whole community. Whilst Wallingford, Brightwell and the Wittenhams are fantastic places to live, many people are struggling under the Conservatives and further cuts will increase inequality. If you share my concerns, please vote for me and consider joining your growing local Labour party.

George's priorities for Wallingford

  • Affordable homes for those that need them
  • A quality education for all with no return to divisive grammar schools
  • Social care that meets the needs of the elderly and disabled
  • Supporting public transport and cycling
  • Pothole free roads
